As we’re coming to the end of February, our team of painters are looking forward to a new month of projects. This month has been incredibly busy for us. We’ve been repairing, painting and decorating a number of buildings throughout Yorkshire. One of our biggest projects however, was a North Yorkshire Premier Inn!
We’ve decorated many hotels throughout our years of service, including chain hotels like Premier Inn. For this project, we were tasked with fully decorating 23 bedrooms as well as giving staircases and hallways a fresh lick of paint.
In order to complete this project, we had to work to a timescale which suited the hotel so that it could be open once again for guests and employees.
To combat this and minimise disruption, we worked closely with the hotel staff prior to the project, to discuss what the best dates and times would be to carry out our work. Within no time we were prepping walls and ceilings with a fresh coat of luxury paint.
At GME, we only use the best quality paints, and believe that the sustainability is just as important as the aesthetic. There are many paints out there which look good but have a short life expectancy and can crack and chip easily. We avoid this by using trusted, luxury paints.
Known for its modern and minimalist style, we were happy to help the hotel chain maintain its fresh and clean appearance. Premier inn were more than happy with the results and we hope that future guests will be too!
