Here at GME Painting Contractors, we are dedicated to not only delivering our services to the highest of standards but doing our bit for the community too. As part of this effort, we have recently sponsored local junior team, Tingley Athletic Under 7’s, who play their football in the ‘U7 Dual Team Division – Shackleton’ league.
Although the team have only played a few games, they have done very well so far and we are looking forward to the rest of the season!
Formed in 1976, Tingley Athletic FC’s original goal was to offer football to the local community, and they have reached this goal with flying colours. With teams of all ages from U7 to open age for boys and teams from U7 to U12 for girls, the club have provided a safe playing area for all, which is much appreciated among the locals and their kids.
If you fancy heading down to see some football one weekend, Tingley Athletic play their home games at The Crescent, Tingley – be sure to look out for the Under 7’s in their GME Painting Contractors sponsored kit!
