GME Land Fantastic Contract with Harrogate Council!

17th December 2018

It’s been a very busy year for our team at GME, to say the least. Working on hundreds of projects throughout Yorkshire in 2018 has been nothing but rewarding. We love a good challenge, so hard work isn’t something that intimidates us at all. With a wonderful client base, we’re positively looking towards 2019 as a year of even more success for our team of painting contractors.

Recently, we landed a very exciting contract with Harrogate Council. This is something we are very proud of and keeping the streets and buildings of well-loved areas in good shape is something we find very rewarding.

Another example of where you might find us is Bradford. Our contract with Bradford City Council means we’re always out and about performing maintenance on the inside and outside of government buildings. Additionally, we work with Leeds city signs to preserve the city’s street signs.

Harrogate’s development is owed to the discovery of its chalybeate and sulphur rich spring water from the 16th century. Making it a well-known, historical town. This means that preserving it for tourists and locals of the area is more important than ever. Maintaining and decorating the town’s empty properties and government buildings is one of the main requirements of us by the council.

We are incredibly grateful to Harrogate Council for choosing and trusting GME with this contract. Our team are more than excited to get stuck in in the New Year and keep the historic town looking brand new, whilst still preserving some of its original, classical features.

Our team of painters and decorators can’t wait to start all of our new projects in the New Year. It’s the perfect chance to utilise the benefits of a fresh coat of paint.
