We are delighted with our most recent apprentice, Kyle Watson who joins us a full time member of the GME team after 3 years in training.
Kyle started his apprenticeship as a school leaver. Having achieved his qualifications at Leeds College of Building and mastered his skills from our team of experienced decorators, he now works with us on commercial projects here in Yorkshire and across the UK.
Speaking of Kyle’s time with GME, Director Gavin Esberger highlighted the company’s commitment to apprenticeship schemes, “we have a long history of apprenticeships with both Directors starting out as apprentices in Leeds based decorating companies. Both of us worked our way up to eventually setting up GME Painting Contractors our own business, 6 years ago. We are really pleased with Kyle and he’s a fantastic member of the team”.
Similar to the Directors, Kyle has the credentials as well as the traditional skills you would expect from a team who have mastered the art and take pride in what they do.
GME are proud to help their community, particularly helping young lads take their first step into a secure job with great prospects and a good future ahead of them.
