Bannatyne Health Clubs

The Project

Bannatyne Health Club is a leading independent health club operator, with over 60 centres across the UK. Offering gym, swimming and spa facilities to over 180,000 members, it’s a major national chain in the UK leisure industry.

GME was enlisted to redecorate Bannatyne’s Health Clubs in a two-week project. Renovating the centres inside and out, we tackled gyms, studios, swimming pool areas, cafes, changing rooms, entrances and car park areas.

Our Approach

As Bannatyne aims to provide a welcoming and clean environment for exercise and relaxation, we tailored the décor to reinforce the company’s branding. Repainting and replacing wallpaper to meet our client’s preferences, we refreshed the interiors and external areas of Bannatyne Health Clubs.

Appreciating the need to minimise the impact on the day-to-day running of Bannatyne’s during the renovation, we completed much of the work out of hours. When working during the daytime, we cordoned off public areas for safety, and set a time limit of 4 hours for work on each area.
